Effective Date: 1 July 2026

This Copyright, Certification & Brand Usage Policy forms part of the agreement between Parimukti Yoga and Meditation Private Limited (“Parimukti”) and every participant attending a Parimukti Programme.

1. Ownership of Intellectual Property

All intellectual property associated with Parimukti is the exclusive property of Parimukti Yoga and Meditation Private Limited and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

This includes, without limitation:

  • Somatic Facilitator Training curriculum;
  • retreat curriculum;
  • teaching methodologies;
  • manuals;
  • workbooks;
  • presentations;
  • worksheets;
  • audio recordings;
  • video recordings;
  • graphics;
  • photographs;
  • illustrations;
  • meditation recordings;
  • breathing protocols;
  • written content;
  • logos;
  • trademarks;
  • branding;
  • website content;
  • marketing materials;
  • downloadable resources;
  • certification designs; and
  • all future updates, revisions, and derivative works.

Nothing in this Policy transfers ownership of any intellectual property to a participant.

2. Personal Licence

Upon attending a Programme, participants receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the materials solely for their own education and professional development.

This licence does not permit commercial reproduction or distribution.

3. Prohibited Uses

Unless Parimukti has provided prior written permission, participants may not:

  • copy or reproduce Programme materials;
  • scan manuals;
  • upload materials to the internet;
  • share digital files;
  • livestream sessions;
  • sell Programme materials;
  • translate Programme materials;
  • create derivative works;
  • use Programme content to create competing trainings substantially based on Parimukti’s proprietary materials;
  • remove copyright notices;
  • distribute manuals to third parties.

4. Recording of Programmes

Audio recording, video recording, livestreaming, or photographing teaching materials during Programme sessions is prohibited unless expressly authorised in writing by Parimukti.

Parimukti may permit limited recording during specific sessions at its discretion.

5. Certification

Participants who successfully satisfy the educational, practical, ethical, attendance, and assessment requirements established by Parimukti may receive a Certificate of Completion or professional certification, as applicable to the Programme.

Certification remains the intellectual property of Parimukti.

Parimukti reserves the right to verify the authenticity of any certificate presented by a graduate.

6. Use of Certification

Graduates may truthfully state that they:

  • completed a Parimukti Programme;
  • received certification from Parimukti, where applicable; or
  • hold a valid Parimukti certificate.

Graduates may display their certificate in professional settings provided it is reproduced accurately and without alteration.

7. Restrictions on Brand Use

Certification does not authorise a graduate to:

  • represent Parimukti;
  • act as Parimukti’s agent;
  • describe themselves as an official Parimukti trainer;
  • describe themselves as employed by Parimukti;
  • imply endorsement beyond the certification actually awarded.

Unless separately authorised in writing, graduates may not use:

  • the Parimukti name;
  • the Parimukti logo;
  • Parimukti branding;
  • Parimukti trade dress;
  • official marketing materials;
  • official manuals; or
  • official certification graphics,

to promote their own business.

8. Franchises and Licensed Training

Only businesses or individuals operating under a separate written franchise, licence, or other formal agreement with Parimukti may advertise, market, or conduct programmes using the Parimukti name.

No participant acquires franchise rights merely by attending a Programme or receiving certification.

9. Online and Social Media Use

Graduates are welcome to share:

  • photographs of their own experience;
  • reflections on the Programme;
  • testimonials;
  • personal learning;
  • public graduation photographs.

However, they may not publish confidential teaching materials, participant manuals, proprietary exercises, or copyrighted Programme content without written permission.

10. Infringement

Unauthorised use of Parimukti intellectual property may result in:

  • withdrawal of permission to use certification references;
  • legal action;
  • claims for damages;
  • injunctive relief;
  • recovery of legal costs where permitted by law.

Parimukti reserves all legal rights available under applicable intellectual property legislation.
