I get up every morning around 5.30am and at least 1,5 – 2 hours before i have to be anywhere. This gives me the time to properly wake up my physical and mental body by doing some asanas, pranayama and meditation. Why is this so important? How you wake up will color your whole day. Taking time and calming flowing, instead of rushing, into the day cultivates your quiet and peaceful mind which you carry with you in any situation and meeting throughout the day. You have some time to appreciate your self, time to look forward and prepare yourself for the day to come, and most important of all: time to ‘just be’ without too many impressions planted in the mind: the mind is fresh and relatively calm which benefits your meditation. So set that alarm clock, get out of bed, take time for yourself, and after that go out and shine and inspire others!
